Group Asset Manager

SUMMARY:
Work closely with various departments, including operations, maintenance, procurement, finance, and IT, to develop and implement integrated asset management processes and systems. Foster effective collaboration to ensure the seamless integration of asset management activities across the organisation.

POSITION INFO:
Head of Asset Management (National Group Asset Manager)

Requirements:

• Manage the asset management budget, allocate resources effectively and optimise asset-related expenditure.
• Ensure that financial resources are allocated in alignment with the organisation's asset management strategy and priorities.
• Develop and optimise hospital repair and maintenance (R&M) strategies for Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and Operational Expenditure (OpEx), balancing cost-efficiency, compliance and lifecycle asset performance to meet healthcare operational goals.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial).
• Candidates must possess either an MBA or a Six Sigma black belt certification (or an equivalent credential in process improvement).
• Candidates with equivalent professional experience in lieu of formal credentials will also be considered.
• Analyse and manipulate datasets (structured and unstructured) to cleanse, validate and prepare data for business use, translating raw data into actionable insights, dashboards, and presentations.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or errors through systematic clean-up processes, ensuring data integrity meets organisational standards.
• Liaise with a complex network of stakeholders to ensure business growth and business unit sustainability.
• Build strategic inter-departmental relationships to help achieve business goals.
• Promote sound staff and stakeholder relationships.
• Implement and maintain operational strategies to ensure that the national asset management strategy is adhered to.
• Accountable for ensuring the planning of all maintenance activities, to ensure increased asset performance and asset reliability.
• Oversee technical incident investigation to determine root cause and ensure continuous improvement.
