Group Assurance Specialist: HSE

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry, has an EE opportunity available for a Group Assurance Specialist: HSE in the Rustenburg area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• SAATCA certification will be an added advantage
• At least 10 years experience in engineering
• Mine Managers Certificate of Competency 
• Government Certificate of Competency 
• A good understanding of systems and system integration
• High level computer literacy
• Willingness to travel
• Strong Assurance Management skills
• Valid driver''s license (EB)

KPAs:

• Consult and support management at all levels in their assurance management process.
• Provide an integrated Health and Safety Support function to Assets and Sites to assure
• compliance to legislation, company policies, procedures and standards in line with relevant legal and other requirements.
• Implement assurance processes to assess and track performance against safety and health policies and standards for FerroAlloys
• General intra-group safety assistance and consulting.
• Sustainable development reporting and data management (GRI reporting)
