Group Finance Executive

SUMMARY:
A JSE Listed organization based in the Northern Suburbs is looking to employ a Group Finance Executive with a minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience at a senior leadership level in a listed company

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Matric, Honours & Professional qualification – CA (SA)
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience at a senior leadership level in a listed environment
• SAP or similar ERP experience
• Experience in African countries taxation and financial reporting (SADC and East Africa)
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to a range of stakeholders
• High level of integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Oversee all financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures and monitor their effectiveness
• Assist the Audit and Risk Committee manage the organization’s risk exposure and ensure that appropriate controls are in place
• Manage the preparation of budgets, financial projections, and other financial reports, and provide regular updates on financial performance to senior management and the board of directors
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, bankers, SARS and employees
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations
• Provide strategic and operational support to business units and support functions
• Manage the organization’s cash treasury function and ensure adequate liquidity
