POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Group Finance Manager (CA(SA)) to lead their financial operations in the logistics and transportation industry.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the financial operations of multiple business units within the group.
Consolidate financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the group.
Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and present findings to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Coordinate with auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
Optimize cash flow management and working capital requirements.

In-depth knowledge of IFRS and other relevant financial regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.

Strategic thinking with a focus on long-term financial planning.
Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
Proven track record in managing complex financial operations and leading a finance team.
Experience with group consolidations, financial reporting, and compliance.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification is essential.
A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, with at least three years in a senior financial management role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
