SUMMARY:
A leading multinational company within the Engineering, Mining, and Manufacturing sectors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Controller to join their executive finance team based in Woodmead.

POSITION INFO:
This is a Senior Controller role, ideal for a technically strong finance professional with significant experience handling complex group consolidations and financial reporting across multiple entities.

Key Requirements:

CA(SA) qualification – non-negotiable.
Minimum of 6 years post-articles experience in a similar role, ideally within the engineering, mining, or manufacturing industries.
Extensive experience managing complex consolidations for multinational or diversified groups.
Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS compliance.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and guide financial teams.
Experience in financial strategy, risk management, and ensuring strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Full ownership of the group consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Preparation and presentation of consolidated financial statements.
Drive financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and financial policies.
Provide strategic financial input to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Oversee financial governance, risk management, and internal control processes.
Manage and develop the financial team to achieve high performance.
