• Relevant Accounting / financial qualification and experience
• Financial aptitude / accounting principles:

- Ensure knowledge of accounting principles is always kept up to date in line with current legislation

Key Performance Areas:

• Monthly management accounts review for Group:

- Review groups management accounts and ensure corrections are made, where necessary

- Preparation of monthly project and profit analysis - analysing trends in sales, cost of sales, expenses, first margins and gross margins

- Monthly group exposure report, including projections / planning

• IFRS auditing of Group:

- Audit all companies quarterly to ensure alignment to IFRS requirements

- Work with team to bring all companies up to an acceptable level of IFRS compliance

- Prepare reports for EXCO accordingly

• Annual financial statements preparation and audit management for Group:

- Prepare all group annual financial statements

- Manage all audits for annual financial statements

• B-BBEE compliance for Group:

- Ensure all entities maintain a level 1 B-BBEE status

- Procurement spend

- Training spend

- CSI Spend"

• CIPC, DOL etc compliance for Group:

- Ensure all entities remain up to date with the various governing bodies:

- CIPC

- Department of Labour Letter of Good Standing

- Any other compliance requirements identified from time to time

- Maintain online document management of all compliance matters

• Manage self-insurance:

- Maintain self-insurance model for group (for all assets worth less than R 100 000, that cannot cause damage to third parties)

- Manage self-insurance funds calculations and put funds in separate bank account monthly

- Process internal claims (in line with company policies and procedures) from the money set aside

• Financial forecasting:

- Preparation of detailed Group forecasts based on historical info and future projections and overseeing successful implementation thereof

- Probability modelling / business cases preparations

• Internal business auditing:

- Operational expenses analysis and reduction strategies

- Auditing high value expenses to determine any anomalies, inconsistencies, red flags (subbies, diesel, etc.)

- Auditing overall business process / procedure compliance, in accordance with predetermined scope

• Group tax management:

- Develop and implement group plans to optimally manage tax liabilities

- Research, recommend and implement improvements to group to make group more tax efficient

• Bank and payment signatory:

- Become authoriser on payments and bank
