JOB SUMMARY:
Group HR Manager is required to join a Durban concern to perform various HR functions including recruiting, employee performance programs, learning and development.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Degree in Human Resources.
Minimum 10 years related experience required.
Attention to detail.
Good management and leadership skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Payroll and HR software experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Overseeing the HR management and teams, creating referral programs, updating HR policies and overseeing the hiring processes.
Design and implement compensation and benefit packages.
Design and implement performance review policies, procedures, and evaluations.
Develop fair HR policies and procedures, and ensure they are monitored and communicated effectively.
Design and implement effective sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques.
Manage the budget of the department.
Manage employee retention.
Ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
Review HR technology and implement most efficient solutions.
Streamline functions within the department.
Oversee daily operations of the department.

Ultimately, to be successful in this role, you should have an extensive background in Human Resources departments and thorough knowledge of labour legislation.
You will make strategic decisions for the company in order to hire, develop and retain qualified employees.
