POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

• Complete BCom Accounting
• Currently studying towards CIMA

• Advanced Excel essential
• Syspro
• Power BI

• Implement improvement processes and systems to control stock accuracy across 6 manufacturing plants
• Write and maintain accurate procedures for all inventory control processes and functions.
• Manage control measures to eliminate mistakes, inaccuracies, and discrepancies.
• Perform cyclic stock checks and keep a note of company’s inventory shortfalls and surplus regularly for replenishment.
• Provide routine management information on inventory levels, consumption, and costs.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure all products are properly taken into account in the cost of sales and inventory costs.
• Liaise closely and communicate regularly with suppliers, customers, and internal functional departments such as Procurement, Production, Warehouse and Sales.
• Prepare and/or review tax and vat returns, journal entries, and monthly audit files.
• Assist with fixed assets when necessary.
• Perform forecasts on new or existing projects and review new systems and procedures in finance.
• Assist with month-end procedures.
• Review monthly income statements and investigate any issues noted.
• Perform internal audit work as required and any other accountant-related tasks.
