SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to join their finance team and take ownership of high-level reporting and consolidations across their global operations.

POSITION INFO:
As a Group Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

Prepare and review group financial reports and reporting packs for both local and international entities
Manage complex group consolidations involving multiple entities and currencies
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting
Partner with external Auditors and manage all audit processes and deliverables
Monitor changes in IFRS and ensure ongoing compliance with group policies
Provide financial analysis and insights to support senior leadership decision-making
Handle inter-company eliminations, FX impacts, and reporting variances
Support the budgeting and forecasting process with accurate financial data
Uphold strict standards of confidentiality, ethics, and corporate governance

What Do You Need?:

CA(SA) qualification
Strong background in audit and financial reporting
Previous experience in a group reporting role (multinational experience preferred)
Familiarity with foreign currencies and international business operations
Expertise in complex consolidations and inter-company transactions
High attention to detail and a passion for clean reconciliations and accurate reporting
Confident, assertive mindset with the ability to challenge and investigate variances
Strong ethical standards and a commitment to professional integrity
Excellent Excel skills and proficiency with financial reporting systems
