Group Reporting and Consolidation Accountant

POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have a minimum of +- 5 years’ Group Reporting and Consolidations experience.
• Must have EXTENSIVE CASEWARE knowledge and other ERP systems.
• Must be a CA (SA) or BCom with completed articles.

Duties include:

• Providing accurate and timely financial information to both group and local stakeholders monthly and annually as required
• Preparation of annual financial statements including consolidated statements and accounts preparation for approval by the company, holding Company, and its subsidiaries, complying to international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Preparing and aiding with monthly and quarterly board, committee and formal exco meetings
• Continuous improvement of reporting standards, implementation of new standards in terms of IFRS and the development of control systems
• Compilation of consolidated reports and preparation of the consolidated budget and forecasts
• Assisting with and compiling of budget and forecasts for SSC cost centres
• Ensuring statutory compliance to IFRS, IAS, Companies Act and financial legislation.
• Experience in developing and automation of reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification – CA(SA) or BCom Honours with articles.
