GUEST RELATIONS OFFICER (Spa)

CAMPS BAY - Atlantic Seaboard (Western-Cape) - South Africa

STARTING DATE: A.S.A.P  / 01 October 2025

REPORTS to: Manager on Duty / Spa Manager

EMPLOYMENT: Full Time

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Tuesday - Saturday
• 09:00am - 18:00pm
• Closed on Sundays & Mondays (may re-open for peak season)

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R11,000 per month (Based on experience relevant)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. South African citizen 
2. Reliable transport to Camps Bay (there is public transport access)
3. Computer confident - making bookings, responding to emails and doing general admin
4. Professional telephone etiquette - clear, confident, speaking
5. Excellent guest communication and command of English - our guests are mostly international tourists
6. Beautifully groomed and highly presentable

BONUS:

1. Certified / Diploma in Beauty Specialist / Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology
2. SAAHSP / ITEC / CIDESCO accredited qualification

EXPERIENCE:

1. Reception experience in Spa / Salon or Cruise Ship
2. Spa Therapist employment experience within luxury hotel or Ship Spa
3. Knowledge & understanding of Spa industry & the lingo (describe treatments accordingly)
4. Exceptional guest/patient relations
5. Computer literate & skilled in booking software including ESP, Social Media & MS Office

KPI:

• Conduct Spa tours & Spa Concierge
• Digital communication with guests
• Guest preparation for services
• Attend to queries
• Operate incoming calls, e-mails or walk-ins
• Guest check-in & check-out
