SUMMARY:
HR Business Partner Lead

POSITION INFO:

Should you be the successful candidate for this role, you will be required to partner the leadership team of defined business area and human resources colleagues to implement the Group HR strategy, aligned to business needs.

Key to the success of the role will be the ability to develop a strategic partnership within assigned portfolios. This comes from understanding the department or business’ key strategic challenges and

providing HR intervention to help the leaders achieve their goals and create positive and productive workplaces.

 

Your key areas of responsibility will include:-

1. Supports leadership team on people issues

2. Develops annual HR strategic plan to support the business area plan

3. Talent management for the business area

4. Recruitment & selection

5. Organisational design & change management

6. Company culture

7. Delivers Key HR initiatives as the key interface

8. Improves the overall people effectiveness of the business area

9. Provides specialist IR advice and support

10.Facilitates reward processes

11.Manages learning and development implementation

12. Employment Equity

13. Develops and manages key relationships

 

In order to be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications and experience:-

  • Postgraduate qualification in Behavioural Sciences/Business Management
  • 5-8 years’ experience in a senior human resources role covering all areas of the function
  • HR Management experience in a call centre/contact centre environment will be advantageous
  • Ability to travel (domestic travel)
  • Managed relationships with senior leaders
  • Service delivery role experience. Strong experience in the ER/IR field. Industry experience
  • Knowledgeable about HR practices: recruitment, talent development, performance management,
  • facilitation, legislation, labour relations, leadership and organisational development, change
  • management and remuneration
  • A strong understanding of HR legislation and requirements, and the ability to apply the relevant
  • legislation in the work environment. Specifically, knowledge of employment practices &
  • compliance (Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act,
  • Skills development Act)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of HR Best practices, policies and procedures
