SUMMARY:
A company in the northern suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a HR Coordinator.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities

Under general supervision, supports the effective operation and improvement of one or more HR processes.
Collaborates with stakeholders, creates tools and resources, and executes programs and projects.
Develops subject matter expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Compensation, Benefits, International HR/Global Mobility, Employee Relations, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Information Systems, or HR Operations.
Supports the efficient delivery of processes, programs and policies through the application of specialized knowledge and skills, analysis, and business acumen.
Responsible for HR data reporting used to determine meaningful recommendations and actions to improve overall HR service delivery.
May advise HR and business leaders across the organisation on best practices.
Conduct regular performance reviews / probation / capacity discussions with HODs to instil a performance culture within the Company.
Ensure continuous building employee relations within the company’s culture goals.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievance, and any other issues.
Contribute to the development and updating of HR and Company policies and procedures as required.
Manage and monitor the Company’s recruitment and selection process and complete recruitment for salary employees.
Contribute and assist (where indirect labour is required) the Company’s recruitment and selection process and complete recruitment for wage employees.
Implement a manager an effective personnel administration system and procedures.

Desired Experience & Qualification

2-3 years HR Generalist experience
Appropriate Bachelor’s Degree &/or tertiary equivalent
ISO 45001
Deciding and initiating action

Presenting and communicating information
Reporting
Applying expertise and technology
Planning and organising
Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
Adapting and responding to change
Coping with pressure and setbacks
