SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a motivated HR Generalist to support HR operations and ensure the smooth running of HR functions. The role includes managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR reporting. The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive workplace culture, provide guidance to managers and employees, and ensure adherence to labor legislation and HR best practices.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Labour Law, employment equity, and B-BBEE.
- SABPP or CHRO certification is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other South African language (e.g., isiZulu, Xhosa, Setswana, Sesotho).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Experience with performance management, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
