HR Generalist Manager - Construction

Our client, based in the Johannesburg East Rand, is looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager in the Construction Industry.

Preferably Power Generation background.

Position available immediately.

Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant experience

Minimum 5 years revelant experience

HR Generalist role with previous management experience as HRM

Experience working with both white and blue collar employees in a warehousing environment.

Up to date with SA legislation

CCMA experience up to arbitration level (not negotiable)

Compile and monitor the employment equity for the business (not negotiable)

Skills Development Facilitator to compile skills plans and training reports is not negotiable

Professional HR reporting

Internal and external HR-related matters.

Handle all administrative tasks for on boarding, new hire orientation, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.

Administration of employee performance programs.

Generating official internal documents such as promotion letters, transfer letters, warning letters, acknowledgement of debts.

Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.

Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, training, and performance evaluations.

Update records of new staff.

Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.

Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary.

Participate in HR activities/projects

Respond to human resources-related inquiries.

Process complaints and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
