JOB DESCRIPTION:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the MANUFACTURING industry to recruit an HR MANAGER to be based at their offices in HAMMARSDALE (3 – 4 days) and MOBENI (1 – 2 days). R25 000 to R30 000ctc, including benefits.

ESTABLISHED IN THE EARLY 1980s, OUR CLIENT IS ONE OF SOUTH AFRICA’S LARGEST MANUFACTURERS OF BOARD PACKAGING AND PRINTING.

The ideal candidate should have/be the following:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing/factory environment.

Have dealt with a staff compliment of about 100 staff members.

A relevant qualification.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Preparation for and dealing with all aspects of:

The disciplinary process.

Processing termination of services.

Death claims

Retirement claims.

Onboarding new staff members

General:

Confirmation of employment

Motivation to replace staff

Clockings/late comings

Job description draft/update

Advertise vacancies: internal/external

Work performance counselling

Ill health counselling

Update and amend medical aid tax dependents on payroll

Arrange psychometric assessment

Draft & sign regret letters

Copy of payslip (3-months)

Newsletter: employee information (new; deceased; retired; birth of baby; wedding; etc.)

Submission of reports

Remuneration:

R25 000 to R30 000ctc, including benefits.
