POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager who brings both strategic insight and hands-on expertise. You will play a pivotal role in leading HR operations, strengthening compliance, enabling talent development, and supporting leadership across the business. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead core HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, learning & development, and policy implementation.
- Ensure full compliance with Tanzanian labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Drive HR strategy through data analysis, workforce planning, and HR metrics.
- Implement and enhance HR information systems and processes.
- Partner with leadership to cultivate a high-performance culture and support organizational growth.
- Safeguard confidential information with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
- Facilitate effective communication across teams and provide guidance on HR matters.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (HR focus), or a related field.
- Master’s degree highly advantageous.
- 5–10+ years of experience managing diverse HR functions.
- Strong understanding of the relevant industry/sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in HR systems, analytics, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and workforce planning capabilities.
- High levels of integrity, ethics, and discretion.
- Fluency in English and Swahili is essential.
Advantageous Certifications:
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, or locally recognized HR qualifications.
- Membership with HRSTA or ATE is an added advantage.
