HR Manager - Mthatha

SUMMARY:

We are seeking an HR Manager for a permanent vacancy based in Mthatha, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• 3 year Degree in HR Management or relevant NQF Level 7 (BTech)
• 5+ years HR generalist experience, with healthcare industry advantageous
• Sound knowledge of HR Practices and SA legislative context
• Excellent computer proficiency including payroll system basic knowledge
• Valid driver’s licence and own car
• Position will be based in Mthatha
• Due to their Equity plan, an African candidate is ideally sought

• Ensure HR best practices, and develop solutions for issues
• Implement strategies to attract, retail and develop employees
• Effective training and development (including skills / WSP)
• Coach, guide and mentor managers/supervisors and ensure effective recruitment as well as inductions and on-boarding
• Effective EE / BBBEE planning, execution and legal compliance
• Oversee payroll submission deadlines
• Provide support, counsel and risk mitigation advice
• Training all managers / partners on IR best practices and ensure same are complied with
• Manage daily IR/ER – CCMA, wage negotiations etc
• Performance / absence management
• Ensure best practices, policy and process compliance
• Effectively drive and implement HR, functional and business projects
• Implement effective change management plans
