SUMMARY:
A leading company in the Earthworks and Mining sector is looking for a HR Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will deliver end-to-end HR services across operational sites, with a strong focus on Industrial Relations, ensuring compliance with labour legislation and supporting line management in all people-related matters.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities :

Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and disputes
Represent the company in external forums when required
Advise management on labour law and ensure fair procedures
Act as a trusted advisor to managers and staff
Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices
Oversee onboarding, transfers, and terminations
Maintain HR records and systems
Support workforce planning across sites
Partner with management on hiring needs
Participate in interviews and ensure fair selection processes
Support performance and incapacity processes
Ensure compliance with labour legislation and policies
Compile HR reports and highlight people-related risks

Requirements :

Diploma/Degree in HR or Labour Relations
3–6 years’ HR generalist experience with strong IR exposure
Proven disciplinary and dispute resolution experience
Experience in operational environments (advantageous)
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
