SUMMARY:
Leading manufacturing company based in Pietermaritzburg is looking a Temp HR Officer for 3 months.

POSITION INFO:

  • Provide HR administration including sign-on and terminations, increases and promotions, administering policies and procedures, filing
  • Complete disability, sick, maternity and death claims with appropriate Provident fund as and when occurs
  • Complete UI19, UI2.3, UI2.7, UI2.8
  • All terminations processed for the month
  • Notify FAW, Financial advisors and payroll of any terminations during the month
  • Submit termination documents to payroll
  • Update HR Dashboard on a monthly basis
  • Recruitment and Selection of staff
  • Typing job descriptions, roles and responsibilities
  • Credit and criminal checks
  • Training and skills development of staff and required
  • Provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers, guiding on policies and procedures in a timeous and effective manner.
  • Administration of HR related documentation and processes
  • Initiate and administrate, innovative recruitment and talent acquisition channels (social media, careers portals, careers days, graduate recruitment programs) together with Training and Development Specialist.
  • Company Culture – Implementation of culture based initiatives including administration of staff surveys
  • Contribute to HR projects
  • Co-ordinate in-house dissemination of company related news to all employees and internal stakeholders (including but not limited to quarterly employee newsletter, employee briefs, letters and notices)
  • Develop and administrate feedback mechanisms and communicating feedback to all stake holders
  • Training and skills development of staff as required
  • Initiate and co-ordinate events and projects for employee engagement, team building, community engagement, community engagement, community social responsibility and charity drives
  • Together with the marketing department co-ordinate procurement and distribution of corporate wear, promotional materials and competitions internal
  • Facilitate I.R matters.
  • Matric or NQF equivalent
  • Degree or Diploma in HR
