HR and Payroll Administrator - Fuel Retail or Motor Industry Background

Are you an experienced Payroll professional with a strong background in high-volume payroll processing and HR administration? Our client is recruiting a detail-orientated and highly organised Payroll & HR Administrator to join a dynamic business where accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality are essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with extensive Sage VIP Payroll experience and a solid understanding of MIBCO regulations to take ownership of the full payroll function while supporting the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to termination.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric), preferably with strong Mathematics or Accounting results. National Diploma or Degree in Payroll Administration, Human Resources, Financial Accounting, or a related field. Minimum 5 years' experience managing end-to-end payroll. Sage VIP Payroll essesntial Proven experience processing payroll for 500+ employees . Previous experience in a fuel retail or motor industry is essential Experience within a MIBCO-regulated environment (Motor Industry Bargaining Council) - is essential Practical HR administration experience, including employment contracts and basic labour relations. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and formulas. Experience using biometric time and attendance systems. Key Responsibilities Manage the full end-to-end payroll process for approximately 600 employees . Process payroll accurately using Sage VIP Payroll . Capture and verify time and attendance data, including complex shift patterns. Calculate overtime, Sunday work, public holiday pay, incentives, and site bonuses.
