SUMMARY:
We are seeking a technically proficient and process-oriented HRIS Product Owner to take full ownership of our HR systems environment. This is not a traditional HR or reporting role—it is a systems-focused position that supports the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of HR technologies through structured and strategic processes.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the HR systems roadmap, working with stakeholders to define and deliver system improvements.
- Lead and document system implementation, configuration, scenario testing, and functional testing.
- Write and maintain clear business requirements, technical specifications, and workflow documentation.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot system and data issues.
- Support and maintain HR systems with a focus on performance, usability, and scalability.
- Run queries and analyze data for audits, troubleshooting, and process validation.
- Document workflows and maintain up-to-date system process documentation.
- Ensure that all system development adheres to SDLC principles and ITIL practices.
- Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Requirements:- Minimum 5 years of experience as a super user or in a similar role involving HR system configuration, integration management, and user support.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and Oracle HCM).
- Strong documentation and testing experience, including scenario testing and functional design.
- Proven ability to run data queries and perform advanced data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Deep understanding of ITIL and SDLC methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:- Matric Certificate with Mathematics.
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- ITIL Foundation or related certification.
- Experience with agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Prior involvement in HR system implementation or large-scale upgrade projects.
