HSE Coordinator - D2

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Risk Management or Safety Management is essential
• Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) course
• Legal Liability training is desirable
• At least 10 years’ experience as a risk Officer is essential
• At least 10 years’ experience in the implementation and consultation of a risk management system is essential
• At least 2 years’ experience in a managerial role is desirable
• Competent in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Knowledge of the risk management software system
• Implementation of risk management systems
• Knowledge of the relevant risk legislation
• Good communication skills - must be able to communicate in English

KPAs:

• Assist with compliance to legislation, mine policies, code of practices, standard rules and procedures in respect of risk issues with-in the risk management system.
• Facilitate the conducting of issue, baseline, and continuous risk assessments with-in the risk management.
• Initiate the risk assessments with-in the risk management system.
• Provide training regarding the risk management methodology courses on issue-based risk assessments.
• Guide management on the establishment of risk practices at operations.
• Develop strategies and tactical plans to reduce the company’s risk exposure.
• Assist in identifying and managing critical control task inventory registers.
