POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join a dynamic team in Fourways, delivering industrial automation and system integration projects that drive clients’ digital transformation journeys. You will work with leading automation platforms and OEM technologies to design, implement, and commission solutions across a variety of industries. The role includes developing technical documentation, ensuring quality and compliance, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver projects on time and to specification. Opportunities are available for Junior, Project, and Senior Engineer levels, with potential growth into leadership roles.
Education & Skills:

• NQF Level 6 or higher in Electrical, Electronic, Control Systems, or Computer Science Engineering.
• 1–6 years’ experience in automation system projects (depending on level).
• Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.
• PLC and SCADA programming experience.
• Knowledge of MES, IIoT, and project management tools (MS Excel, MS Project).
• Understanding of procurement, risk management, and Health & Safety.
• OEM certifications in platforms such as Siemens, AVEVA, Schneider Electric, Rockwell, Adroit, or Mitsubishi advantageous.

• Understand project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Plan, develop, and implement automation and control system solutions.
• Produce accurate technical drawings and project documentation.
• Perform onsite commissioning and provide technical support.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, partners, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Report progress, risks, and variations to project leadership.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge and maintain relevant certifications.
• Contribute to process improvements and share engineering expertise.
• Complete administrative tasks including timesheets, expenses, and document management.
