SUMMARY:
An acclaimed upmarket restaurant in Cape Town is looking for a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead its kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative culinary professional to bring innovation, consistency, and excellence to a high-end dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service.
Develop and design seasonal, innovative menus aligned with the restaurant’s concept.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Manage food costs, stock control, and supplier relationships.
Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen brigade to achieve excellence.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in an upmarket or fine dining restaurant.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional creativity with a flair for modern, trend-conscious cuisine.
Solid financial acumen in managing budgets and controlling costs.
Passionate about hospitality and delivering a world-class dining experience.
