HEAD SPA THERAPIST / MANAGER ON DUTY

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - PHALABORWA, Limpopo (ZA)

START: ASAP / 01 November 2025 

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS

• Monday - Sunday
• Shifts
• 6 days on / 2 days off
• Flexible regarding overtime on occasion based on hotel bookings
• OPEN all major public holidays 
• 21 days paid leave per annum

REPORT TO: Hotel GM / Owner

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS

• R8,000 - R10,000 Basic Salary per month (negotiable based on experience & skills)
• Commission (Product & Services rendered)
• Semi-furnished accommodation with private en-suite bathroom (Bed, linen, tv, dresser, mini fridge, microwave, cupboard)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA 
2. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / City & Guilds or similar recognized accreditation
3. Spa Manager or Assistant Spa Manager experience in Lodge, Hotel or Cruise Ship Spa environment
4. Fit and healthy to perform therapies back to back
5. Beautifully groomed and looking the part of a 5-star therapist
6. Confident retailer 
7. Computer literate - able to do oversee bookings, client communication (e-mail/whatsapp etc) / reporting and any other basic admin duties assigned
8. We prefer our employee to have their own transport
9. Ability to build rapport with our staff, international guests and local clientele
10. Confident leader, you will manage a small team of spa professionals

EXPERIENCE:

1. Day Spa experience within a Hotel, Lodge, Cruise Ship or Resort or independent spa
2. Prior employment in a bush, lodge or safari environment
3. Confident all-rounder, however strong in Body Therapy as our primary service
4. Holistic Wellness approach favourable
5. Head Therapist / Assistant Spa Manager experience is preferred

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident and skilled in all standard SPA services
2. Retail confident
3. Confidently re-book clients where applicable
4. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
5. Ability to work in luxury environment with high-end clients from around the world
