Head of Communications

POSITION INFO:
Job Purpose:
As the Head of the Communications, you will be responsible for how we communicate with our customers and the media. It’s all about delivering the right message to the right customer at the right time and on the right platform. Your role will focus on designing and implementing a communications strategy aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction, building loyalty, reducing friction and driving positive brand reputation. You'll lead the way on strategy, roadmap prioritisation, cross-channel coordination, and identifying new opportunities to improve the overall communications experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & execute a communications strategy to improve rain's customer experience throughout their entire journey.
• Develop brand customer communication playbook for execution across comms-channels for the end-to-end customer life-cycle.
• Leverage new technologies to create new communication experiences
• Lead a team by fostering collaboration to enhance our communications.
• Proactively address customer concerns before they arise, ensuring quick and positive resolutions.
• Build strong partnerships with key business functions to ensure visibility across the organization.
• Oversee the execution of the communication strategy across channels, including call centre agents, email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, and online platforms.
• Lead brand PR strategy in key moments, media responses and crisis communications efforts, ensuring timely and accurate information reaches both customers and stakeholders.
• Take charge of content design and support for digital and copy assets, ensuring all communications are clear, visually appealing, and effectively targeted.

• Experience: proven track record 7 years in communications strategy and execution

• Skills: Crisis communication, project management, leadership, and presentation skills. You should excel in facilitating collaboration and bringing fresh ideas to the table. Strong expertise in mass communication is key.

• Abilities: Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into compelling stories. You should have a solid understanding of emerging digital trends and technologies and be able to solve problems.
