Head of Corporate Affairs and Transformation

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry has an opportunity available for a Head of Corporate Affairs and Transformation to be based in the Sandton area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Political Science or Human Resources Degree or National Diploma
• 10 years’ relevant experience, preferably 5 years’ managerial experience
• Project Management, Conflict Management and Mediations / Negotiation Skills
• Operating computer systems
• MS Office
• Demonstrate understanding of the impact of an unfavourable Climate and Culture in an organisation
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Roles and Responsibilities of Tribal/Traditional Authorities
• Demonstrate understanding of the principles of Cultural and Traditional set ups
• Apply the principles of Change Management in the workplace
• Apply Principles of Knowledge Management to Organisational Transformation

KPAs:

• Comply with the relevant HR Legislation (Labour Relations Act, Traditional authorities Act, EE Act, Skills Development Act, etc.)
• Compile EE Strategy and ensure continuous alignment to Legislation
• Identify and address issues that create barriers to Transformation
• Initiate and monitor implementation of CSI projects
• Prepare and plan for Departmental Budgets and implementation
