SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry has an opportunity available for a Head of Corporate Affairs and Transformation to be based in the Sandton area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Political Science or Human Resources Degree or National Diploma
10 years’ relevant experience, preferably 5 years’ managerial experience
Project Management, Conflict Management and Mediations / Negotiation Skills
Operating computer systems
MS Office
Demonstrate understanding of the impact of an unfavourable Climate and Culture in an organisation
Demonstrate knowledge of the Roles and Responsibilities of Tribal/Traditional Authorities
Demonstrate understanding of the principles of Cultural and Traditional set ups
Apply the principles of Change Management in the workplace
Apply Principles of Knowledge Management to Organisational Transformation

KPAs:

Comply with the relevant HR Legislation (Labour Relations Act, Traditional authorities Act, EE Act, Skills Development Act, etc.)
Compile EE Strategy and ensure continuous alignment to Legislation
Identify and address issues that create barriers to Transformation
Initiate and monitor implementation of CSI projects
Prepare and plan for Departmental Budgets and implementation
