SUMMARY:
Are you a Lead Data Engineer or Data Engineering Manager and you're looking to take the next step into a senior, strategic role as a Head of Data Engineering? POSITION INFO:

A truly disruptive “data solution” organisation is looking for a Head of Data Engineering to manage a fully-fledged Data Engineering function. The successful candidate will inherit a team of Data Engineers and drive strategy, closely collaborating with board level execs to drive commercial outcomes.

Key Requirements:

· Experience as a Lead Data Engineer/Team Lead, or Data Engineering Manager

· A natural leader, comfortable with having commercial conversations and collaborating closely with senior/board-level stakeholders

· Previous experience in recruiting, building and mentoring Data Engineering teams

· Experience in Python, R, Scala, Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka

· Experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure)

· Comfortable with building and maintaining data lakes.

· Previous involvement in the release of new products/platforms.
