Head of Digital Marketing

Location: Gardens, Cape Town

Salary: R720k – R1m per annum

About the Role:

Opportunity available for a Head of Digital Marketing for a modern digital agency specialising in Strategy, Branding & Digital Marketing.

Requirements:

Relevant Tertiary Qualification Digital Marketing, Communications or similar

8+ years of experience in digital marketing with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and analytics.

Proven track record of successfully scaling digital marketing efforts and driving ROI.

Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, etc.).

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Experience with paid advertising (PPC, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.).

Familiarity with marketing automation platforms.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Lead the creation and optimization of digital campaigns across various platforms (social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, display ads, etc.).

Set measurable KPIs and monitor performance to ensure campaigns meet or exceed targets.

Lead and manage the digital marketing team, including content creators, digital marketers, and analysts.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, providing coaching and development opportunities.

Oversee the analysis of digital marketing performance and customer data to guide decision-making.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign performance and market trends.

Work closely with sales, product, and creative teams to ensure consistency and synergy across all digital marketing efforts.

Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a seamless customer journey across digital platforms.

Oversee the development and optimization of digital assets (websites, landing pages, etc.) to ensure an engaging, seamless, and high-converting customer experience.
