FMCG company based in Midrand is recruiting for a Head of Finance - Position applicable to SAICA registered Chartered Accountant CA(SA) only

Our client is looking for an executive level Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with a minimum of 10 years’ post articles experience within the FMCG, Food Production, Manufacturing, Retail or similar industry sector. The successful incumbent will have extensive experience pertaining to the Strategic, Operational and Commercial Management on EXCO level and will have a stable work history. Due to the nature of the business and the demands of this role, “work from home” is not an option. This is a growing business that operates almost around the clock; Therefore, it ideally requires someone that is driven, passionate, willing to go the extra mile and willing to avail themselves after normal working hours if need be.

Duties include but aren’t limited to:

• Executive Management (Exco)
• Strategic Business Management and Development
• Financial Planning & Analysis
• Management of Business KPI’s
• Management of Business Net Turnover & Revenue Growth
• Commercial Management & Sales Initiatives
• Stakeholder Engagement & Finance Business Partnering
• Budgets & Forecasts
• Profit & Loss
• CAPEX & OPEX Management
• Management of Debtors & Creditors
• Management of Payroll Function
• Risk Management
• Regulatory & IFRS Compliance
• Management Legal Affairs, Insurance & more

Minimum Requirements: (Non-Negotiable)

• Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) registered with SAICA
• Must have a minimum of 10 years’ post article experience within a relevant industry sector (FMCG, Food Production, Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing etc)
• Additional qualifications such as CIMA, MBA etc would be advantageous
• Must have at least 4 or more years’ experience on executive/strategic management level
• Change Management experience highly preferred
• Must have a stable working track record
• Must have strong Commercial and Operational Management experience
