Head of Finance

As the Head of Finance, you will form part of the executive leadership team, overseeing end-to-end finance while driving strategic initiatives that support growth, efficiency, and profitability.
You will have oversight of financial reporting, budgeting, governance, cost control, compliance, and operational finance—while partnering closely with production and supply chain teams to enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full finance function including reporting, forecasting, governance, and compliance.
• Drive financial strategy aligned to business goals and manufacturing performance.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and margin analysis.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to financial best practices and IFRS.
• Partner with operations, production, and supply chain to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

• Education: CA(SA) or equivalent finance degree (non-negotiable).
• Experience: Minimum 8–12 years finance experience, with strong exposure to the manufacturing sector. Proven leadership or senior management experience required.
• Skills: Advanced Excel, ERP system proficiency, strong technical accounting, cost accounting and operational finance ability.
• Other non-negotiables: Strategic mindset, strong leadership presence, ability to influence at executive level, hands-on operational understanding.
