One of the most successful group of companies within South Africa is seeking a head of Finance to lead the Financial Department and operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be used to very remote living situations as the nearest town is 150 KM away. If you are someone that wants to form part of a sustainable company and use to countryside this is an ideal opportunity for you.
Please note that there are no schools close to the area.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparation and submission of all tax returns
- Oversight of accounts payable function
- Processing of accounts receivable cycle
- Payroll approval and oversight
- Journal processing
- Month end close off
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Year-end audit
- Responsible for BEE rating
- Maintenance of asset register
- Cashflow forecasting
Job Experience and Skills Required:
CA(SA)
Sage would be beneficial
Five years’ experience within a Head of Finance or CFO role
