A leading retailer in South Africa is looking for an experienced candidate to join their finance department as the Head of Finance in the scenic small town of George, Western Cape. The suitable candidate will be responsible for ensuring that financial information and reporting used within the organisation for optimal decision making is reliable.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Commercial support

-Financial Management of Brand in total

-Planning & managing all financial-related activities of the company,

-Cash flow/working capital management

-Consolidation of results

-Development and Maintenance of Finance timetable

-Statutory

-Taxation

-Annual Financial Statements

-Annual Audit

-Corporate structure

-Corporate Governance & Internal Controls

-Communicate finance information to internal and external stakeholders as required

-Leading & managing overall central rental and administrative functions mainly in support of Store Operations

-Leading & managing overall central finance cash-up team in support of Store Operations

-High level support and oversee of payroll department

-Leading & managing overall stock credit department
