JOB DESCRIPTION:

A multinational insurance giant is looking for an independent-minded Head of Finance to join their team in Botswana. This individual needs to have in-depth technical skills and the confidence to interact on board level. This company has been around for over half a century and is part of a listed concern. You will be welcomed into the family valuing integrity, involvement, and innovation. The role will include duties such as:

Manage budget preparation process, working capital & monthly financial reporting
Manage internal and external audits
Preparation and presentation of Board packs and Subcommittee Packs
Preparation and submission of Annual Financial Statement
Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Develop and align governance and compliance policies
Financial controls processes
Establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships with key stakeholders

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications & Experience

Chartered Accountant
5 years management experience
