Our Remarkable client in the EduTech sector has an Exciting opportunity for a Head of People (Strategic Lead) based in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory - Nigeria

POSITION INFO:

Kindly note this position is based in Abuja, Nigeria

Overview:

• Someone with a proven track record of meaningful experience in an HR operations leadership role in a challenging and changing environment.
• 7-9 years Tech Industry experience (non-negotiable)
• Provide strategic counsel to the Operations team on Total Rewards- including benefits, payroll and compensation, HR Systems and Operations aspects related to People.

Experience required:

• 7-9+ years Strategic HR experience in the Tech sector
• Ability to think strategically but also deliver on tactical and operational issues.
• This is very hands-on role that requires building and developing capabilities in a high growth setting with a small, but high performing team.
• Strong track record of being a partner to managers across a variety of functional areas as well as demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees.
• Proven success in delivering high-impact people programs around performance management, team engagement and team retention.
• Strong track record of problem solving and leveraging data to inform decisions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex thoughts and strategies with simple, actionable recommendations.
• Highly proactive style of work, with a demonstrated track record of developing innovative approaches.
• Highly collaborative and enjoys working cross-functionally.
• Meaningful experience in a global role and comfortable working in a high growth, fast paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and succeed in a highly ambiguous environment with competing demands.
• Comfortable negotiating and managing expectations, influencing up, challenging thoughtfully.
