Vice President - Procurement

POSITION INFO:

B.Com, BSc eng, Procurement Degree
Post Grad/MBA

15 years experience in Senior level Procurement in the chemical, mining or manufacturing industries
Used to managing multiple sites
Strategically lead the Procurement Function for a large group, using your sound experience of systems, governance, processes to deliver value to the stakeholders.
Executive level role experience in private and public sector advantageous
Best practises, operational experience, sourcing, compliance and good governance experience is crucial with sound ERP systems and a knowledge preferably of JDE
Experience with international trade and regulations.
Good people manager who can ensure compliance even when working remotely.
Review performance to budget, people performance and improve on spend and quality.
Drive large scale business improvement with the Procurement team
Build relations and earn the respect of the Exco, Board and Divisional Leaders.
Position can be based in Gauteng, Limpopo or KZN
