SUMMARY:
Vice President - Procurement

POSITION INFO:

• B.Com, BSc eng, Procurement Degree
• Post Grad/MBA

• 15 years experience in Senior level Procurement in the chemical, mining or manufacturing industries
• Used to managing multiple sites
• Strategically lead the Procurement Function for a large group, using your sound experience of systems, governance, processes to deliver value to the stakeholders.
• Executive level role experience in private and public sector advantageous
• Best practises, operational experience, sourcing, compliance and good governance experience is crucial with sound ERP systems and a knowledge preferably of JDE
• Experience with international trade and regulations.
• Good people manager who can ensure compliance even when working remotely.
• Review performance to budget, people performance and improve on spend and quality.
• Drive large scale business improvement with the Procurement team
• Build relations and earn the respect of the Exco, Board and Divisional Leaders.
• Position can be based in Gauteng, Limpopo or KZN
