    The Role:

    A new multinational start up within the tourism industy is seaking a Head of sales to join their marketing team.

    Essential Functions:

    • The Head of Sales is responsible for the daily sales efforts.
    • Overall positioning of the services and products.
    • Brand communication and the development of customers, properties, group and consortiums â?? as we all as trade marketing collections within the Tourism Sector.
    • Responsible for revenue, strategies, implementation, market performance and meeting budget, forecast, and optimal business mix targets.
    • Strategies will include pricing, status, direct sales, market mix, marketing, and public relations. 
    • Should have a dynamic leadership style,
    • Posses excellent communication and decision-making skills and have astute business acumen.
    • Prepares Sales Reports and annual Sales Marketing Plan
    • Knowledge of Tourism industry, current market trends and economic factors
    • Develop rates, group sales deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management.
    • Ability to effectively listen, communicate and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff in all situations.
    • Direct and manage all group, transient, and banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the group.
    Skills and Experience:

    Experience Required:

    • Advanced international knowledge of the principles.
    • Practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession.
    • Minimum of five years of sales .
    • Marketing in the global tourism industry
    • Command of the English language both written and verbal
    • Strong media, presentation and computer skills
    • Proven track record of presentation at panels and conventions, trade shows.
