SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales & Business Development to lead our sales strategy, drive growth, and oversee key operational areas including procurement, stock management, and client relationships. Experience in the marine industry will be a strong advantage. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the company’s success while working with a motivated, professional team.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Define, implement, and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
Identify new market opportunities, secure tenders, and sign new clients.
Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals and ensuring performance.
Manage supplier relationships, procurement planning, and cost negotiations.
Oversee stock control, warehousing processes, and import/export logistics.
Maintain and grow strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Monitor market trends, analyse data, and provide accurate forecasts and reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and health & safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or similar senior role.
Marine industry experience would be highly beneficial.
Strong knowledge of procurement, stock management, and import/export operations.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast, budget, and report effectively.
