SUMMARY:

Diploma (Chemical Engineering) and SAMTRAC essential.
Minimum 4+ years post-graduation experience in a manufacturing environment essential.
Health and Safety experience
Minimum of 1-2+ years experience
Must reside in KZN or willing to relocate at your own cost
Valid drivers licence

POSITION INFO:
Responsible for :

Record keeping and monitoring of Health & Safety site inspections. E.g. pressure testing, fire equipment inspections, First aid boxes
Facilitate the annual Task Based Risk Assessment
Assist with incident investigations and also the training of SHE reps accordingly.
Manage the Health & Safety Management System (inspections / procedures / training etc.)
Monitor and arrange site training needs as well as appointing staff in their duties related to the OHSA requirements.
