SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing Industry is looking for a Health and Safety Officer / Administrator to join their team

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Requires matric and post-matric qualification in H&S (cert/ diploma/ degree- preference given to those with highest qualification)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in H&S

Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities include: PPE management/ facilitate distribution of clean laundry/ issue new PPE/ housekeeping and stock control/ communication with relevant heads of dpt

Type of person= strong, assertive (dealing with difficult people and have to be able to hold the line with issuing stock etc), able to work independently and take ownership of the space, lots of admin so require good attention to details and computer skills
