CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

Enable garden and landscape maintenance and ensuring quality aesthetic gardens and open spaces.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Garden maintenance within the Nelson Mandela University landscapes, strict adherence to the safety, Health and environmental policies.

Safe and responsible use of tools and equipment.

CORE COMPETENCIES

Physical fitness, the ability to work unsupervised, an eye for detail and an interest in plants and Horticulture.

Ability to function within a team, good communication skills and a basic understanding of English as a first or second language

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Grade 10 scholastic achievement, but preferably Grade 12 to enable development training.
