Gauteng, Turffontein
R10 000 - R15 000 CTC

Our client in the catering industry is seeking a experienced Hot Kitchen Chef to join their team in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) essential
Reliable transport to and from work
Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts advantageous
Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in hot kitchen operations
Proven expertise in hot food preparation
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, storage standards, and HACCP principles
Ability to manage inventory, control stock levels, and maintain par stocks along with other team members
Excellent organizational and communication skills for collaboration with chefs, service, and procurement teams
Flexible to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
Physically fit – able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
