Hospitality Hire SA is recruiting for a boutique 28-room hotel with conference and dining outlets in beautiful Lesotho. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality leader with strong F&B oversight, a passion for guest service, and the ability to uplift standards in a developing environment.
The Role
As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations, including F&B, conferencing, and guest services. You will provide strong leadership to local teams, ensure cost controls are in place, and drive high guest satisfaction. This is a live-in role suited to a practical, adaptable leader with a passion for delivering service excellence in a remote or developing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Full operational management of the hotel, F&B outlets, and conferencing facilities
- Lead, train, and mentor local teams to deliver consistent service standards
- Oversee cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction across all departments
- Ensure compliance with operational policies and brand standards
- Foster strong relationships with local suppliers, stakeholders, and community
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a senior hotel management role (Hotel Manager or General Manager)
- Strong food & beverage knowledge, preferably across multiple outlets
- Hands-on, practical management style
- Experience in remote, rural, or developing areas (advantageous)
- Hospitality diploma or degree (preferred)
- Valid passport
- South African citizenship (role limited to SA citizens due to border proximity)
