Hotel Marketing Coordinator

POSITION INFO:

The President Hotel is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation, and we are creating a new opportunity for a Hotel Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Coordinator to support the hotel’s marketing, communications, and brand initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or brand management, preferably within the hospitality industry

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field advantageous

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and content creation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) preferred

• South African citizen with a valid ID

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and bookings

• Manage the hotel’s social media channels, website content, and digital communications

• Create engaging marketing materials, newsletters, and promotional content in line with brand standards

• Support PR activities, media relations, and influencer collaborations

• Monitor and report on campaign performance and provide insights for continuous improvement

• Coordinate events, activations, and promotional activities in line with hotel objectives

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure marketing consistency across all guest touchpoints

• Maintain an up-to-date media and contact database

• Uphold the hotel’s brand values and visual identity in all communications
