Hotel Operations Manger

SUMMARY:
Our client an upmarket boutique is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Hotel Operations Manager to join our team. This position is live-in and includes single accommodation and 3 meals per day. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Duty Manager, as well as a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Operations Management position in a 4/5 Star Hotel.

Area: Polokwane

Requirements:

• Experience in all different areas of a hotel
• Polite, friendly, and with a strong personality that can think on their feet
• Well-spoken and well-presented individual
• Strong leader who has been in charge of employees before
• Grade 12 and computer literate
• Previous experience on Opera and Micros would be an advantage
• Formal hospitality degree/diploma is preferable

• Manage the operational area in such a manner that customer satisfaction is achieved
• Assist with queries and guest complaints as management on duty
• Effectively manage all staff
• Create and maintain relationships with guests
• Manage the entire establishment in the absence of the GM
