SUMMARY:
Human Capital Controller- Woodmead (Gauteng)

POSITION INFO:
A very well established, international business currently requires an experienced Human Capital Controller to join their team based in Woodmead.
 
The primary purpose of the role is to support the HC Administration Manager in delivering an efficient and effective Human Capital administration service to employees across the Group (South Africa and international), in accordance with Human Capital policies and procedures.
 
Job functions will include:

  • Ensure all input received is evenly distributed across the team and tracked to completion.
  • Maintain employee records in the prescribed format within the prescribed timeframe.
  • Plan, monitor and control bulk admin activities including distribution of work to the team and consolidation of feedback to business.
  • Review and quality assure changes/variations within the human capital system and review engagements, terminations and documentation in relation to employee changes on the system.
  • Review administration data for errors, omissions and inconsistencies for data integrity.
  • Provide first line support and advice to business and analyse trends for regular requests to be translated into communication and knowledge nuggets.
  • Provide insights to required system change results and test such prior to implementation.
  • Update forms and checklists in accordance with policy and procedures, and communicate changes to relevant parties.
  • Provide input into the creation of reports in consultation with HC Administration Manager and HC Reporting Administrator.
  • Liaise with auditors during audits to respond to queries and provide information.
 
Requirements:
 
  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • Diploma or Higher Certificate in Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources Administration or payroll within a corporate environment.
  • Must have experience managing multiple high-volume payrolls in a Group.
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory capacity in Human Resources Administration with excellent people management skills.
  • Full computer literacy (including SAP ERP ECC).
  • International exposure within the Human Resource Administration environment will be an advantage.
