SUMMARY:
A vacancy for a Temporary Human Resource (HR) Administrator has become available in our Johannesburg office. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacancy. The successful candidate will report to the HR Manager

POSITION INFO:

The candidate must have:

  • Must be available to start immediately. 
  • Have a qualification in HR.
  • A minimum of 6 years experience as an HR Administrator.
  • Experience in administration of recruitment and selection.
  • Have knowledge and experience in SAGE VIP
  • Have excellent administration skills
  • Experience in the on-boarding process
  • Experience in training and skills development
  • Be computer literate in MS Office.
  • Have a positive attitude.
  • Be a strong team player.
  • Have solid/strong ethics and values.
  • Have attention to detail.
  • Be very organized and efficient.
  • Have excellent communication skills.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with the distribution of provident fund benefit statements.
  • Coordinate NMG (broker company) consultations for new employees.
  • Responsible for record keeping of training
  • Assist with coordination of training (order catering/ venue/stationery etc.).
  • Assist on the day of training for any requests from delegates.
  • Distribution training certificates to staff that have been on training.
  • Assist with coordination of candidacy programme documents to be submitted every quarter to the CETA.
  • Assist with scheduling the quarterly mentorship meetings between candidates, mentors and HR.
  • Assist as and when required with coordination of documentation required for submission to relevant professional bodies.
  • Coordinate the interview process with candidates and internal staff.
  • Conduct references of candidates.
  • Opening of files for new employees.
  • Set up probation review meetings for new starters.
  • Update the appraisal spreadsheet on an annual basis.
  • Filing of personal files for all employees.
  • Keeping all personal files update manually and electronically.
  • Ensure HR Module is up to date (Proman)
  • Update personal detail schedule of all compulsory documentation.
  • Archive old personnel files.
  • Compile birthday lists and distribute them to all SBU’s.
  • Assist HR overflow.
