SUMMARY:

Our client in Phalaborwa (Limpopo) in the mining industry is looking for an HR Consultant to provide input and facilitate the implementation of the HR Strategy to provide streamlined user-orientated and value-adding service to assigned departments.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Human Resource Consultant
Location: Phalaborwa, Limpopo
Salary: Market Related
Closing date: Saturday, 31 July 2021
 
Purpose of the Position:

• Providing input and facilitating the implementation of the HR Strategy to provide streamlined user-orientated and value-adding service to assigned departments.
• Implementing HR best practice and continuous improvement regarding the delivery of an excellent and effective customer service.

Qualifications:

• B Degree (Human Resources Management)
• Post Graduate Degree will be an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in HR, especially in a Mining unionised environment
• 5 Years must be in a HR Generalist role.
• 4 Years in a supervisory role

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge and experience in the relevant Legislations.
• BCEA, EEA, SDA, SLA, UIF, WCA, LRA, SARS legislations.
• IR Training, Recruitment & Selection.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the recruitment and placement process.
• Implementing career and succession management plans for the respective departments.
• Human Resource Development.
• Facilitating and implementing change management interventions
• Implementing and facilitating performance management systems.
• Providing input in development of an industrial relations strategy and ensuring implementation.
• Identifying training needs
• Management of Employment Equity and compiling monthly reports.
