SUMMARY:
Enterntainment complex in KZN is looking for a strong HR manager from the Hospitality sector to oversee all L&D, Training, IR and staff HR functions #hrmanagerjobs #humanresources #hrgauteng #hotelhr #hrjobs

POSITION INFO:
PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION

Develop and maintain effective, consistent and efficient administration procedures within the unit, in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
Establish and maintain an effective recruitment system for the unit, and assist in recruitment.
Ensure that all prevailing legislation is adhered to regarding personnel administration.
Hold regular personnel administration audits in the unit.
Ensure that all relevant statistics are compiled and distributed on a regular basis, as well as any ad-hoc reports.
Handle all personnel administrative problems as and when they occur and ensure the speedy resolution thereof.
Ensure that all job descriptions/specifications are up-to-date.

TRAINING

Ensure that all new staff are inducted.
Identify training needs. Initiate plans and programs to meet the needs.
Monitor and control the implementation of programs at unit level.
Evaluate effectiveness of training at unit level.
Ensure that all the relevant administration is accurately compiled.

Ensure that the training reports are compiled and distributed.
Meet regularly with management to discuss training.
Hold regular audits in the unit.

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS

Ensure that effective IR training is conducted at all levels within the unit.
Ensure that IR policy, procedure and practice, is consistently applied within the unit.
Ensure that all-prevailing legislation and agreements are adhered to.
Keep up-to-date with all relevant IR issues, external, and internal.
Maintain clear channels of communication.
Ensure that all relevant reports are compiled and distributed.
Attend and participate in meetings and negotiations where and when required.
Maintain good relations with representatives from the Department of Manpower, and other relevant government officials.
